Ironing

The ironing process involves several key steps to effectively remove wrinkles and creases from fabric. First, the iron is preheated to the appropriate temperature for the specific type of fabric being pressed. Once heated, the garment is placed on an ironing board, ensuring it is smooth and flat. The iron is then pressed onto the fabric, moving in a back-and-forth motion, while applying gentle pressure to help the heat relax the fibers. For stubborn wrinkles, steam can be used to further assist in the smoothing process. After ironing, the garment should be hung or laid flat to cool, helping to maintain its crisp appearance. Proper care and attention during this process can result in a polished and professional look for any clothing item.
